A Start to the training

Pete made a start to the training last week, with a couple of walks - 4.4 miles and 5.79 miles - slowly building up ready for that 137 mile one in the summer. Determination to make a start, despite the snowy weather we encountered last week - think it's safe to say we are glad that seems to be over and done with now! Of course Nala was in attendance too - she needs to build up to the long walks, although after walk number 2 she was walking rather 'stiff legged' the following day and rest was somewhat required!
Keep your eyes peeled for some longer walks this week, think a 10 mile is on the cards. Looking forward to seeing where Pete walks this week! Don't forget we are always on the look out for people to join us in the summer, be it for the whole walk, or just part.
